KELIS BLASTS UNFAITHFUL MEN
'Milkshake' singer Kelis, who is eight months pregnant with her estranged husband Nas' child, has written a furious online rant about men who cheat on their partners.
Kelis has hinted her estranged husband Nas cheated on her.
The 'Milkshake' singer - who is eight months pregnant with the US rapper's child, and filed for divorce in April - took to her Twitter blog to discuss her feelings on infidelity, prompting speculation her rant was aimed at Nas.
She wrote: "This lovely day I would like to touch on cheaters. Super brief! Why be cowardly, why not go after what you really want? Do people know what they want? Probably not which goes into know and respecting ones self. Also we can discuss w****s I mean the nasty sub par tricks that participate in cheating. "Well let me say this, both parties that are gross. And reality they deserve each other. All the scum bag coward husbands and less than impressive sl*ts unite! You can all go down in flames together! Hooray! (sic)"
The 29-year-old singer went on to specifically blast married men who are unfaithful, insisting there is nothing wore than a husband who has an affair.
She wrote: "No seriously I have no patients for any of it but the problem is women usually blame the women. I am here to say that the husband is way more at fault, now of course the woman/women who partake are stupid and pitiful. An honestly I will say its expected from younger girls 23 and under. But after that I do think we as women need to take more responsibility. Men are driven by something differently then we are and that is generally stupidity, don't worry we still love you guys. We just have to be smarter :) (sic)"
Kelis and Nas, 35, met at an after-party hosted by P. Diddy for the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.
They got engaged a year later and married in Atlanta in 2005.

Well let me just say that I have always been a fan of both Nas and Kelis.
People who came into my record store automatically associated me with Nas
especially, because I constantly promoted his records and pushed people to
listen to him- not only because his stuff was relevant, but also because I
viewed him as one of the only authentic voices in Hip Hop. I was absolutely
thrilled when Nas & Kelis united and used to hope and pray that someday I could
have the same type of "real love" amidst all the phoney crap out there...
Too bad. Now that Nas cheated (which I never would have expected out of such a
"good" role model) I don't think I'll ever be able to listen to his records
again. Everything he represented and stood for is tainted and ruined now. It's
a shame since we all know he is one of the smarter, deeper men out there. So
much for being a "conscious rapper" right? He just wrecked everything he ever
built in his impressive career.
Kelis is showing everyone exactly what she's made of by rising above Nasir and
his scandalous behaviour and leaving him. She has essentially proved herself to
be the REAL ROLE MODEL through all of this. Women need to demand respect and if
a man is too immature or stupid to give us their due, then real women exit the
building. Don't waste your precious time on a man who is incapable of measuring
up to his duties as a man. Remember what you signed up for ladies, and if you
aren't getting that then leave. God has bigger, better plans for you.
