KEITH GOT ACTING ADVICE FROM REYNOLDS
Country star TOBY KEITH was thrilled when he got acting advice from veteran star BURT REYNOLDS while he was filming his first movie BROKEN BRIDGES. Keith plays a washed-up country music singer who returns to his hometown where he reunites with his childhood sweetheart and meets his 16-year-old daughter for the first time. He says the SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT star told him, "The thing that makes a leading man great is being able to be charming and dangerous. "JOHN WAYNE was both. Very few people are both. I wasn't both, I was charming. TOMMY CRUISE doesn't frighten me with a samurai sword (in THE LAST SAMURAI), but you freak me out with a fork." Keith adds, "It was while we were eating, too. But he was great, man!"
