KEATON: 'I WAS ALWAYS AFRAID OF MEN'
Actress DIANE KEATON is not surprised she has ended up a spinster - she was always terrified of men. The Annie Hall star, whose past romantic partners include Woody Allen and Warren Beatty, admits she was never suited to dating and her indecisiveness prevented her from ever marrying. She says, "I was always a little bit afraid of men. I was inclined to be somebody who would go along. Not a good thing. They're not getting the real you, and you don't know how to be the real you. I'd get lost in that, and when the real me came out, it was less than flattering. "I wanted to be in a good relationship. Those good relationships that are strong and substantive never happened for me, and that prolonged my indecisiveness." The 62-year-old now raises her adopted children - Dexter, 12, and Duke, seven - by herself.
