KEANE NOT INTERESTED IN COOL
Keane say they have no interest in being fashionable and would rather see their music evolve than follow a crowd.
Keane are deliberately unfashionable.
The 'Spiralling' group insist they have no interests in copying what other groups do and are happy to go their own way.
Singer Tom Chaplin said: "The norm is what makes for bands that come and go. I think one of the best things about our latest album 'Perfect Symmetry' is that it confounded expectations of what Keane should sound like.
"My favourite bands have always been the ones who evolved and stepped away from trends or fashions and we very much aspire to that."
The band have seen themselves the subject of ridicule from other rock artists but insist they have no interest in feuding with anyone.
Tom added: "I don't go in for that kind of inter-band b******g. Music is about spreading love and understanding so any band that criticises another are hypocrites."
