KAY BEATS JACKSON IN REALITY TV U.K. SINGLES BATTLE
British comic PETER KAY has beaten X FACTOR winner LEON JACKSON in the U.K. singles chart with a spoof song based on the reality TV show phenomenon.
Pink held the top spot for a fourth week with So What, leaving Kay, as his television alter ego Geraldine MCQueen, to claim second place with The Winners Song.
Jackson, last year's (07) X Factor winner, was left trailing in third place with Don't Call this Love.
At number four was Kings Of Leon with Sex On Fire and rounding out the top five was British girlband The Saturdays with Up.
Rockers Keane shot to the top of the album charts with new release Perfect Symmetry, knocking Oasis' Dig Out Your Soul LP to number two.
Only By The Night by Kings Of Leon is still holding strong at three, with Irish boyband Boyzone entering at number four with their comeback offering Back Again - No Matter What. Ne-Yo's Year Of The Gentleman rounded out the top five.
