KATONA SUFFERS MISCARRIAGE

Former ATOMIC KITTEN singer KERRY KATONA has had a miscarriage. The British reality TV star, 27, last week (21Sep07) visited specialists at a private hospital in Chelmsford, south-east England, where doctors confirmed she was six weeks pregnant. But the medics warned Katona and husband Mark Croft there were major "complications" with the pregnancy. She was rushed to hospital on Tuesday morning (25Sep07) by Croft where she was told the tragic news. The singer's publicist Max Clifford says, "Kerry was only a few weeks pregnant. She's sad but she's young and healthy and she had a baby not so long ago. "She's as good as she can be in the circumstances. She's resilient, as always. They're upset but they'll bounce back. She handling it as best as she can." Katona and Croft are parents to Heidi, seven months, and the former pop star has two daughters - six-year-old Molly and four-year-old Lilly-Sue - with ex-husband Brian MCFadden.
