KAREN O: 'WE'RE POP NOW'

YEAH YEAH YEAHS frontwoman KAREN O has slammed her record label bosses as "lazy". The eccentric singer is delighted with the band's new pop sound in their new album SHOW YOUR BONES, which comes after 2003's much rockier FEVER TO TELL. However, she believes their new sound goes over the heads of bosses at Polydor, who see the band as strictly rock. She says, "You should start a petition and send it to our label and let them know our songs sound pop. "They don't get it, which is kinda lazy. The decline of record labels that is going on all over the place doesn't surprise me."
