KAPRANOS REVEALS OFFENDING T-SHIRT ON TV SHOW

FRANZ FERDINAND frontman ALEX KAPRANOS shocked bosses of legendary British TV show TOP OF THE POPS when he revealed a T-shirt with 'Franz F**king Ferdinand' written on it. The Scottish band were taping a forthcoming appearance on the BBC show when, at the end of the song, Kapranos unbuttoned his shirt to reveal the offending slogan. Footage of the T-shirt will be edited out before the performance airs. It will be the last time the band appears on Top Of The Pops - the show has been axed following 42 years on air.
