KAL PENN'S HOUSE MEMORIAL SITE CONFUSES PALS

Actor KAL PENN has mixed emotions about his former HOUSE character's memorial website - because it's "a little creepy".
The site went live after Monday night's (06Apr09) House episode, during which Penn's character, Dr. Lawrence Cutner, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
The actor admits he initially liked the idea of creating an information source for fans of the hit drama to check out more about the tragic character - but when the site popped up, it confused a few friends.
He explains, "I did get a couple of texts from friends who didn't read the heading 'Lawrence Cutner Memorial'. They texted and said, 'Are you alive?'"
Penn had a few stipulations before he agreed to let show bosses post the memorial website online: "I said, 'That's fine with me, I just wanna make sure you don't use any of my real pictures... because I think that crosses the line, where I would feel a little uncomfortable.'"
The actor exited the show to take up a position as a public liaison assistant director at the White House.
