Actor KAL PENN teaches Asian-American studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
The Namesake star is a resident professor at the university and admits his first classes were a big hit - until students realised how early it was.
He tells MTV news, "It's a Monday, early morning class and there's a lot of reading and papers, so a lot of people dropped the class."
