KAISER CHIEFS 'TAKING HIATUS'

THE KAISER CHIEFS are planning to take time to reflect after the underwhelming performance of their last single, it has been claimed.

Good Days Bad Days was the latest single from their Mark Ronson-produced album, OFF WITH THEIR HEADS, but it failed to make the Top 100.

The band have reportedly decided not to release any more tracks from the record, due to concerns they have become overexposed.

A source told the Daily Star that there was initially "huge excitement" when it emerged that the hugely-popular band would be working with Ronson.

"It was a dream pairing. But perhaps it came a little too quickly. For a long time you couldn't turn on your TV and radio or go to a festival without the Chiefs being in your face," the insider said.

He added that the band are now taking time to take stock "away from the limelight".
