KAISER CHIEFS AND HARD-FI ADDED TO IBIZA ROCKS

Kaiser Chiefs have been added to the bill for Ibiza Rocks this summer along with Hard-Fi and Mark Ronson.

The Kaisers have played Ibiza before and will return with support from London band Good Shoes at Bar M on August 28th.

Hard-Fi look set to enjoy some summer fun after putting the finishing touches to their second album. The Staines band will play Bar M on August 8th.

DJ-turned-pop star Mark Ronson will be mixing it up early this summer with a gig at Ibiza Rocks on July 24th, building on the success of his album Version which was released earlier this year.

Also making an appearance will be Mike Skinner and the Streets Soundsystem who will be joined by Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe for two nights at the summer festival on August 6th and 13th.

This year's Ibiza Rocks line-up is the most impressive yet, with sets from Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, the View, CSS and Fratellis already confirmed.

London radio station X-fm will be broadcasting a number of live shows from the island and X-fm marketing director Richard Mintz said everyone at the station was "really excited".

"We know that our listeners like nothing more than live music and our involvement now means that that is exactly what they will get - hours of the best bands and the best music from the hottest gigs of the summer," he said.

Ibiza Rocks is a series of gigs hosted at the Bar M venue throughout June, July, August and early September. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
