JUST JACK: 'ELTON IS NO FAIRY GODMOTHER'

British rapper JUST JACK insists his mentor SIR ELTON JOHN never acted as his fairy godmother. Jack, whose real name is Jack Allsopp, got his big break when the Rocket Man hitmaker became a fan of his early recordings and secured him a deal with his own management company, leading to the 32-year-old star signing a major record deal with Mercury Records in 2006. But Allsopp is quick to point out that John's involvement was strictly for his love of music. He says, "I tell people that he helped me out, and they always say, 'Like a fairy godmother?' No... like a music lover who likes to bring talent through."
