JUDE LAW'S SADIE SUPPORT

Sadie Frost has reassured ex-husband Jude Law she will always support him and says their friendship is stronger than ever.

Sadie Frost has pledged to "support" ex-husband Jude Law.

The actress-turned-fashion designer - who has three children, Rafferty, 13, Iris, nine and seven-year-old Rudy, with the actor - insists the 'Alfie' star recently becoming a father again won't change their friendship and she will stand by any decisions he makes regarding Sophia, his new daughter with model Samantha Burke.

Sadie - who visited Jude in New York last week - said: "We're continuing to have a very close relationship and I'm here to support him as a friend. That won't stop. He's a wonderful person and I'll stand by him forever."

Sadie, 44, and Jude, 36, divorced in 2003 and despite previous tensions between them, she insists their relationship is now better than ever.

She explained to Britain's Grazia magazine: "I see him more as a brother now and that makes things easier. Once the sexual side of your relationship has gone it takes the sting out of things. Jude and I were amazing friends before we became lovers, and when we were lovers it was passionate and wonderful.

"But we still have a lot of the things in common that we did before. For all the silliness and difficulties, we've always really cared for each other and we're both a hundred per cent committed to the kids and doing the right thing by them. Everything's fine."

Samantha, who lives with her mother in Florida, gave birth to Sophia five works ago and recently revealed Jude - who fathered the baby following a brief fling - has not yet met the tot.
