JOSS MAKES DEBUT AS FLAKE GIRL

Soul songstress JOSS STONE made her debut as a Cadbury's Flake girl last night.

The young singer is the first ever celebrity to star in the famous advertisements, which have previously featured models, including a former Miss World.

In the advert Joss breaks up a recording session to indulge in her chocolate bar before breaking into a version of Flake's famous jingle "Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate…".

She is also the first ever Flake girl to sing the jingle.

Speaking about her new role, the 20-year-old said: "Well, I think they wanted someone normal - not a model who blatantly doesn't eat Flakes.

"I blatantly do - and on a regular basis. I love chocolate."

In an interview with the Metro, Joss revealed that she believes her collaboration with Cadbury is destiny saying that she had a dream about the chocolate giant six months before she received their call

Charlotte Charlton, brand manger of Flake at Cadbury, said that using Joss in the adverts was an attempt to modernise the brand.

Meanwhile, Joss has recently spoken out in defence of her celeb pal TOM CRUISE.

The YOU HAD ME singer said that she would defend the "lovely" actor against any negative comments from the press.
