JOSEPH FIENNES TO PLAY VIVALDI

SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star JOSEPH FIENNES is set to portray eccentric priest and 18th century composer ANTONIO VIVALDI in a new film. Fiennes joins MALCOLM MCDOWELL, JACQUELINE BISSET, LENA HEADY and ZULEIKHA ROBINSON, who have already been cast in VIVALDI. Journalist STEVEN FREEDMAN will write the script and has spent more than two decades researching Vivaldi, whose most famous composition is THE FOUR SEASONS. The biopic follows the composer as a young priest assigned to serve as a music master at a school for the illegitimate daughters of Venice, Austria's courtesans.
