JONZE ANGRY ABOUT WEST FILM LEAK

Director SPIKE JONZE is fuming after KANYE WEST helped to leak a short film the pair shot together.
After collaborating on West's Flashing Lights video, the rapper reteamed with Where the Wild Things Are filmmaker Jonze to create We Were Once a Fairytale, exclusively for Apple's iTunes.
West plays himself in the movie, with scenes showing him drunk at a nightclub and having sex in a back room.
The star came out of hiding last week (ends23Oct09) to post a link to the video on his website - not realising he was promoting an unauthorised edit of Jonze's creation, a week before its official release.
West quickly pulled the film down, and Jonze insists he doesn't blame the star - although he is frustrated about the leak.
The director tells the New York Times, "I think (Kanye) was like, 'Oh, it's out. I'll link to it.' This is the first time it's happened to me (an internet leak of his work) and it is a weird feeling, like, 'Wait a second - I wasn't ready to put that out! That's mine. Uh, no, I guess it's not mine anymore.'
"I like Kanye and I care about him. Who knows? I don't know what the reception is going to be, but I love making stuff with him. I love the guy."
The finished film is available on iTunes from Tuesday (27Oct09).
