JONES SUES OVER 'MOULDY' APARTMENT

U.S. TV presenter STAR JONES has filed a lawsuit against the condo board of her New York apartment - insisting her home has become uninhabitable.
The former The View talk show host, 46, has filed papers at Manhattan Supreme Court claiming that recurring leaks and mould have forced her out of the property, and is demanding $700,000 (GBP432,000) in costs and damages.
Jones insists she had to pay for other accommodation because she has been unable to stay in the apartment since March 2006.
The suit also accuses the Louisiana condo board of knowing about water problems in the building since 2004, but failing to rectify the situation, according to the New York Post.
The papers state: "As a result of said damage and environmental condition, it is unhealthy and dangerous to reside in such premises. As such, I have obtained comparable living arrangements at the costs of $17,861 a month."
