Jones Pleads Not Guilty Over Ne-Yo Brawl
Rapper JIM JONES has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanour assault charge stemming from his alleged brawl with members of R&B hitmaker NE-YO's entourage. The Diplomats frontman was quizzed by New York cops in connection with a fight which broke out in the Louis Vuitton store in the Big Apple on Christmas Eve (24Dec08).
He was booked for his part in the altercation and released on bail after giving a full statement.
On Wednesday (04Feb09), Jones went up in front of Manhattan's Criminal Court to enter his not guilty plea through his lawyer Scott Leemon.
No further court dates were known as WENN went to press.
