JONES MAKES $4 MILLION ON HOLIDAY HOME

TOM JONES has made a staggering $4 million (GBP2.1 million) profit, by selling a California mansion he bought as a holiday home for his parents. The Los Angeles-based singer snapped up the Bel Air house in 1981 so his mother and father could stay in luxury during trips to visit him. His dad THOMAS died the same year, and his mother FREDA passed away in 2003, leaving the pad empty - so Jones decided to sell up. A source reveals, "Tom bought the four-bedroom pad for his father and mother so they could be near his house in Hollywood. They would visit him at his mansion which was once owned by Rat Pack star DEAN MARTIN and is now the home of actor NICOLAS CAGE."
