JONES LOVES SWEARING BROADWAY ROLE
Veteran actor JAMES EARL JONES loves his latest role in the new Broadway version of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF - because he gets to say "f**k" onstage. The 77-year-old Dr Strangelove star appears alongside Terrence Howard and Phylicia Rashad in the adaptation of Tennessee Williams' play. And Jones admits he finds it liberating to curse onstage at New York's Broadhurst Theatre - because when Williams wrote Cat On A Hot Tin Roof in the 1950s, public expletives were unacceptable. Jones says, "I love this role and I think this is an ideal time to explore these issues. "(When the play was written) you couldn't say the word 'f**k' onstage. I love saying the word 'f**k' onstage."
