JONES FOUND NOT GUILTY

British tough guy VINNIE JONES has been found not guilty of assault in a South Dakota courthouse.
The former soccer star-turned-actor was charged with three simple assaults after fighting with Juan Trevino-Barrera in a bar last December (09).
Security footage showed the Snatch star attacking Trevino-Barrera after another Wiley Tavern local smashed a beer glass in his face.
Jones, 44, needed medical attention after the bar brawl, which left him with 48 stitches in his face.
Shortly before the jury's speedy verdict on Friday (15May09), the movie star testified, stating he was "driven by fear" during the fight.
Barrera testified that the attack was unprovoked, but Jones' legal team argued their client acted in self-defence.
The actor was in South Dakota as part of a pheasant hunting party. Jones said he was at the bar signing autographs and posing for photographs with locals when the fight broke out.
