JONES FILES FOR DIVORCE

U.S. TV personality STAR JONES has filed for divorce from her husband of three years, AL REYNOLDS.
The former The View talk show host, 46, filed the notice on 26 March (08) at Manhattan's Supreme Court in New York, which was subsequently labelled an "uncontested matrimonial" case by officials.
In a statement released to U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, Jones says: "Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce.
"The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."
Jones and Reynolds wed on 13 November 2004 in a lavish New York City ceremony, which came under scrutiny after she plugged the nuptials' corporate sponsors at length on her chat show.
