JOLIE: 'I'M SO PROUD OF BRAD'

ANGELINA JOLIE is "very proud" of partner BRAD PITT's performance in THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, because he was so dedicated to the "trying" film.
The movie, which has already received a Best Director award and has been nominated for several other major honours, centres around Button, who is born with the physical limitations of a man in his eighties and ages backwards.
Filming was hard for Pitt, but it made him appreciate his extended family more, according to Jolie: "As Brad says, it makes you want to call your folks and hug your kids. It makes you think about all the people in your life who have been important to you."
Jolie couldn't be more pleased with her partner's performance, telling Paramount, "I'm very, very proud. Just every day he went to work, how hard he worked, how hard the director worked, just how dedicated they all were.
"It's been a big process. It was a very trying film. So I'm just happy that it came out so beautifully and that their work is going to be recognised."
And the Tomb Raider actress can relate to some of the themes running through the movie.
She adds: "It deals with so many aspects of our life. It deals with love and death and friendship and what we've learned along the way and the mistakes we make and the things we regret and the things we're happy we did and we wish we could return to. All those things that make for a beautiful film and I think it has everything in it."
