JOJO SIMMONS DRUG CHARGES REDUCED
Felony drug charges against JOSEPH 'REV RUN' SIMMONS' 19-year-old son JOJO have been reduced to misdemeanours after his arrest in New York last week (08May09).
Jojo was arrested and charged with drug possession, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and criminal use of drug paraphernalia after Manhattan police caught him rolling a joint behind the wheel of his car on Friday.
But a judge dropped the felonies in a Manhattan court on Saturday (09May09) and the teenager now faces two counts of drug possession and one of resisting arrest.
The Run's House star was released on his own recognisance and is due to face the reduced charges at a later date.
Following his arrest, Jojo's sister Vanessa addressed the incident in a posting on her Twitter.com blog, writing, "As humans we all make mistakes. They make up your life lessons an experiences. Jojo is OK, he just made a 'oops'."
