JOHNSON SUES OVER NASH BRIDGES PROFITS

NASH BRIDGES star DON JOHNSON is suing the producers of the hit 1990s cop drama, alleging he's been conned out of hundreds of million of dollars.
The actor starred as a San Francisco police detective in the show, which ran from 1996 to 2001.
Johnson, who also served as executive producer, accuses bosses at Rysher Entertainment and Qualia Capital, the companies behind the show, of failing to hand over his cut of the profits, eight years after Nash Bridges was taken off the air.
In legal papers filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday (17Feb09), Johnson - who is a co-owner of the show's copyright - claims the series earned over $300 million (£211 million) in revenue, and more than $150 million (£105 million) from syndication.
But he has yet to receive anything from Rysher Entertainment and Qualia Capital executives - and is suing for half of the profits, according to TMZ.com.
