John Mayer boasted of updating his Twitter account while using the toilet in a nightclub.

John Mayer updated his blog while in the toilet.

The 'Gravity' singer - whose relationship with Jennifer Aniston was rumoured to have ended because she was tired of his obsession with social networking websites - boasted of his multi-tasking prowess on micro-blogging site Twitter.

He wrote: "The ultimate live tweet: peeing in a club bathroom, but not without facing the mirror and mugging as if to say 'hey, you're doing great.' "

John also took to his blog to reveal his ambitions plans for a new restaurant and club but had his ambitious plans turned down by building inspectors.

He revealed on his Twitter page: "Bad news, my new bar/restaurant/nightclub didn't pass building inspection. Maybe because it's 6 feet by 3,000 feet.

"We had a lot of interesting things planned, really. No ceiling, just plumbing. Glory holes placed impossibly high. (sic)"

The musician also claimed to have come up with a bizarre new concept for diners to experience in his proposed eatery.

He added: "Child bathroom attendants. Interesting note, the floor would move very slowly on a belt that fed people out the door. One building's length every 90 minutes."
