JOHN FULL OF PRAISE FOR REJUVINATED MICHAEL
SIR ELTON JOHN has well and truly healed his rift with fellow gay singer GEORGE MICHAEL, declaring he is delighted the former WHAM! star is performing live again.
Last year (05), the CANDLE IN THE WIND star branded pal Michael "boring", but he now insists he was simply trying to encourage Michael to get back on stage.
Michael is currently earning rave reviews for his first UK tour in 15 years, and is expected to announce US dates soon.
John says, "I'm so thrilled that George is back out on tour putting on a great show.
"When I did that interview saying I thought George should get out more, I just meant he should get back on stage doing what he does best."
