JOHN CUSACK'S 'STALKER' ARRESTED OUTSIDE STAR'S HOME
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of stalking actor John Cusack after turning up at the star's Malibu home.
Officers were called to Malibu Road on Sunday evening after a cab driver reported a passenger could not pay a fare to the area.
As deputies arrived at the scene, Cusack approached and told them he recognised the woman and that she had been stalking him.
Emily Leatherman, 33, was booked on suspicion of felony stalking, violating a restraining order and petty theft.
According to Los Angeles County sheriff's officials, Ms Leatherman is being held in lieu of $150,000.
The actor obtained a restraining order against Ms Leatherman in 2006, which prevents her from coming within 500ft of the star, his home, workplace, car and offices.
Cusack's said in his application for the order that she had thrown letters "over my fence in bags with rocks and screwdrivers inside".
The actor said she also "threaten(ed) to commit acts of violence against herself if I do not help her".
Cusack is best known for his roles in Runaway Jury, High Fidelity and Grosse Pointe Blank.
