JOHN CUSACK STALKER CLEARED FOR TRIAL

A US judge has ruled that a woman arrested on charges of stalking Hollywood actor John Cusack will stand trial.

Emily Leatherman, 33, was arrested back in March near the Con Air star's home in Malibu and charged with stalking.

Her court trial was delayed, however, while she was evaluated by a psychiatrist.

And Los Angeles superior court judge Susan Speer has now ruled she is mentally competent and ordered her to stand trial on September 9th.

Ms Leatherman is also charged with petty theft and breaking a restraining order Cusack got against her two years ago.

The 33-year-old is reported to have broken down in tears in court when told she must now face trial.
