SCARLETT JOHANSSON "squealed with delight" when husband RYAN REYNOLDS proposed.
The couple married in secret in Reynolds' native Canada in September (08), a year after they began dating, and four months after he popped the question.
Johansson insists the proposal was expected and not a surprise - but she was still overwhelmed with emotion.
She tells the February (09) issue of Harper's Bazaar, "I wasn't surprised that it was happening, but anyone being presented with a beautiful diamond ring, as a girl, you just squeal with delight. You say you can't believe it, but of course you really can."
In the interview Johansson laughs off rumours she is already pregnant with the couple's first child - insisting babies are a long way off.
She jokes, "I've been pregnant several times. With, like, sextuplets. That must mean I've been eating way too many bagels or something. I'm not pregnant and I'm not going to be anytime soon."
