JOHANSSON DENIES TIMBERLAKE RUMOURS

Scarlett Johansson has dismissed rumours that she has become involved with the recently-single Justin Timberlake.

Since the SexyBack's singer split with his long-term girlfriend Cameron Diaz earlier this year he has been plagued with much speculation about who may have become the new object of his affections.

And with Scarlett appearing in a video with him and the pair being seen out and about together, the finger has been pointed squarely at her.

But speaking to E!'s Giuliana DePandi on the red carpet at last night's Grammy awards she insisted that they are just good friends.

"We have a lot of friends in common, and Justin's a sweetheart, and it's always good to see him but there's a lot of speculation and I try not to read that stuff," the 22-year-old said.

"I think when two people are single and are seen together, it's immediately like a crazy feeding frenzy."

As well as Scarlett, who herself recently split from fellow actor Josh Hartnett, Justin has been linked with the actresses Alyssa Milano and Jessica Biel.
