JOEL'S WIFE COOKS UP A TOURING TREAT

BILLY JOEL's chef wife KATIE LEE JOEL has bought the rocker a mobile rotisserie so she can cook up treats for the Piano Man and his bandmates on the road.
The rocker is a big fan of his wife's cooking - and he particularly loves what she can do with a barbecue, so she and his new rotisserie are to be a permanent fixture on his tours.
She says, "We bring a rotisserie machine in Billy's road case so somebody will go out and buy a prime rib or chicken and we put them on the rotisserie and have that back stage so it always smells fantastic!"
But Lee admits her outdoor cooking skills are nothing compared to what she can do at home, in the kitchen - the meatloaf she cooked for Joel on one of their first dates is still his favourite.
She adds, "I call (it) manloaf because, if you make it for a man, he's destined to fall in love with you. I put the ketchup in the meat mixture which keeps it really moist and I also put it on top. I also don't put in too many breadcrumbs to keep it light. If you want to eat healthy you can substitute the meat for ground turkey.
"Billy also loves my pulled pork BBQ and chocolate peanut butter cake. You can't go wrong with sweets and anything fried. We love fattening foods but we know not to overdo it."
