JOEL'S DAUGHTER UNFAZED BY PARENTS' DIVORCES

BILLY JOEL's daughter with supermodel CHRISTIE BRINKLEY still dreams of getting married one day - despite her parents' multiple divorces.
The rock legend is currently working through his third marriage break-up after confirming he's separating from chef Katie Lee on Wednesday (17Jun09).
Brinkley recently experienced a messy and painful divorce battle with ex-husband Peter Cook, her fourth union to end in tatters.
The stars' 23-year-old daughter Alexa Ray admits her mum and dad's streak of bad love matches has affected the way she approaches the idea of marriage - but she insists she's not fazed by their terrible track record.
She tells OK! magazine, "I'm a real woman. I would love to get married.
"I don't necessarily think you need to get the government involved in order to celebrate your love. You can have a wedding, and have it be big and fabulous and not necessarily complicate it with the papers and all that.
"In what I've seen - sure I have a different perspective on marriage and all of that. But I'm a true romantic and I will be having a wedding. At one point, not now!"
