Joel Madden regrets shaving his beard off as he feels ''naked'' without his facial hair.

The Good Charlotte rocker removed all his facial hair but now feels very "naked" without it because he doesn't have anything to hide behind.

Writing on his Twitter blog, Joel said: "I wan't my beard back. i shaved yesterday and i regret it. My face feels naked and self conscious (sic.)"

His lack of facial hair is not the only thing to have upset Joel this week.

The musician - who is expecting his second child with partner Nicole Richie - recently revealed he was horrified when strangers tried to sell him a baby.

He said: "Today some people in traffic tried to sell me a baby. A live human baby. I didn't know what to say. I said a little prayer for the kid. wow

"It all happend so fast. I was trying to figure out if they were serious, and i think when my reaction was not a good one, they just took off (sic)."
