JOE JACKSON: 'THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT'

MICHAEL JACKSON's father JOE JACKSON insists his grandchildren's birth mother, DEBBIE ROWE, will have "nothing to do" with the family's plans for Prince Michael and Paris Michael.
The pop star's mother, Katherine, was awarded temporary custody of her late son's two children by Rowe and a third, Prince Michael II, on Monday morning (29Jun09).
But Rowe is expected to contest Jackson family plans to fight for permanent guardianship.
Speaking to reporters outside the family compound in Encino, California minutes earlier, Joe Jackson said, "This is where they (kids) belong. We're the parents and we got other kids of their size; they love those kids, and we love those kids too.
"We're gonna take care of them and give them the education they're supposed to have. We can do that and we have the area enough and the premises large enough to be able to extend all kind of help that they might need.
"They're happy with the kids that they're around. We have kids back there (who are) small just like they are. Some of them are the same age. They were never around other kids."
Asked if Rowe's potential custody claims concern him, the Jackson patriarch snapped, "Debbie Rowe has nothing to do with what we doing (sic)."
And he hinted that his grandchildren's former nanny, Grace Rwaramba, could be retained.
Rwaramba has revealed her former boss' mother, Katherine, called her shortly after his death last week (25Jun09).
Joe Jackson said, "She's a good friend of the family and good friends with the kids."
