JOE JACKSON AND MAYOR MEET INVESTORS FOR GARY TRIBUTE COMPLEX

MICHAEL JACKSON's father and the mayor of the family's hometown are hatching plans to build a large tribute complex around the clan's rundown old home.
Gary, Indiana Mayor Rudy Clay is in Las Vegas with the Jackson patriarch putting the finishing touches to a plan to create a hotel, museum and performing arts complex on the site of the house where Michael and his siblings grew up.
Dubbed the Jackson Family Project, insiders admit the idea is still in the heads of Joe Jackson and Clay, but the two men have lined-up a series of meetings with potential investors.
And Clay's spokeswoman Lalosa Burns tells CNN the centrepiece of the new complex will be the two-bedroom house Joe and Katherine Jackson shared between 1950 and 1966.
She says, "We do hope to have, even if not the house, a replica of the house."
