Legendary British actress Joan Collins has been forced to put her lavish New York apartment on the market because she can no longer afford to run four properties.
The Dynasty icon owns homes in the Big Apple, Los Angeles, France and London thanks to earning a fortune during her stellar acting career.
But following the economic financial crisis, Collins admits even a Hollywood superstar doesn't have sufficient funds to keep paying out for the extortionate monthly costs owning several houses entails.
She has now put her three-bedroom apartment at the Dorchester in Manhattan up for sale for $2.89 million (£1.78 million).
Collins tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "We always knew that there would probably come a time when either our L.A. home or this one would have to go and we have made the sad decision that it will be this place.
"Many people have said to us, 'How on earth can you afford to keep four homes?' And the fact is, in this day and age, we can't.'"
The home boasts north, south and eastern views of the famous city, has three bathrooms and comes with a monthly maintenance fee of $2,915 (£1,821).
