Jo Wood filed for divorce from Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood after she found her his new girlfriend was spending her money.

Jo Wood filed for divorce after discovering Ronnie Wood's girlfriend was spending her life savings.

The former model - whose 23-year marriage to the Rolling Stones rocker ended when he left her for Ekaterina Ivanova - was left fuming after discovering Ronnie had allowed the 20-year-old cocktail waitress to waste thousands of pounds from their joint bank account on shopping sprees.

Ekaterina even reportedly lost a bank card for the Woods' account at prestigious bank Coutts.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Jo knew divorce was on the cards but the Coutts and Co. spending was the trigger point."

Meanwhile, the 61-year-old guitarist reportedly plans to marry his Russian girlfriend as soon as his divorce comes through and is determined to keep his £60million fortune from Jo.

A source said: "Ronnie wants the divorce to be over as soon as possible so he can marry Kat. Joe always believed this was just a silly fling that would soon blow over. She worked really hard to remain on good terms with Ronnie. But instead of sorting things out he wants to fight out any claims in court."
