Pop star JEWEL is so hooked on late-night drug stores, her rodeo champ boyfriend TY MURRAY has banned her from visiting them. The singer admits she can spend hours and small fortunes on "c**ploads of meaningless stuff" at her local stores in her adopted Texas. She tells Blender magazine, "I love drug stores. My boyfriend doesn't let me near them. When he goes out of town, I sneak out. "I'll get stuck in the cough-medicine aisle; I may not have a cold, but in case I get one, I feel like I need one of each brand. "As a kid, we never had money to shop, so a drug store is like this thrilling world where I can buy three kinds of combs and 50 lip glosses."
