JERRY GARCIA ITEMS TO BE PUT UP FOR AUCTION
GRATEFUL DEAD fans have been given the chance to buy items once belonging to JERRY GARCIA; everything including the kitchen sink - literally.
Californian Henry Koltys is giving fans of the late guitarist the chance to snap up household items including stereo speakers, a two-person jacuzzi and a bidet from the star's former house.
Koltys bought the property in Marin County 10 years ago and has decided to put the items up for sale in a bid to clear out the mansion.
He says, "I'm hoping that someone will come along and say, 'His Jacuzzi, wouldn't that be great. People are just kind of fanatics when it comes to that."
The auction lots have been estimated at a total of $75,000 (GBP37,500) and will go on sale on eBay between 12 and 19 August (07).
All proceeds will be donated to the Sophia Foundation, a non-profit organisation which supports children and families dealing with separation or divorce.
