Jermaine Claims It With The Boogie
After the glory of beating H from STEPS in a battle of the bands in the CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER house yesterday, JERMAINE JACKSON claimed his brothers from the JACKSON 5 "would be proud".
Jermaine and four other housemates including DIRK BENEDICT and SHILPA SHETTY performed a tribute act to the JACKSON 5, while H and JO O'MEARA joined JACK TWEEDY and JADE GOODY for the STEPS tribute.
However, 75 per cent of the viewers watching the show voted Jermaine's effort as the best performance, winning him and his group special gold discs and a JACKSON 5-themed party for all the housemates.
The legendary singer and brother of MICHAEL JACKSON sang the lead to I WANT YOU BACK, while H and his group performed STEPS' A DEEPER SHADE OF BLUE. And Jermaine commented afterwards that Michael would have enjoyed the performance.
He added that Michael would probably be watching the show and that his brother "would be proud - and laughing at the same time". However, in an MJ-esque moment of oddity, Jermaine admitted that he feels his younger brother is keeping up with goings on in the house from the inside.
He said: "I just have a feeling Michael's here."
