JENKINS SUED BY FORMER MANAGER

Opera star KATHERINE JENKINS is facing legal action from her former manager after she fired him in July (09).
The Welsh singer dismissed Brian Lane earlier this year (09) to join an American agency in a bid to break into the U.S. market - but her long-serving representative insists she still owes him money for his work.
He's suing her in a bid to recoup a "substantial six-figure sum" from deals he claims he negotiated for the star.
Lane says, "I had six fantastic years managing Katherine and making her successful. I hope we can end it in an amicable situation."
A representative for Jenkins adds, "She's breaking into America and she needs a global management team."
