Opera singer KATHERINE JENKINS was devastated after performance commitments forced her to miss her grandmother's funeral. The star was contracted to sing at a concert in Australia when her relative fell ill, but was unable to fly back to her native Wales when she heard her beloved gran had passed away. Despite being devastated by the news, the dedicated star even performed on-stage while the funeral was taking place. She says, "I didn't want the occasion to pass without my marking it so I dedicated the last song to her. "I really thought I was going to break down on-stage. I managed to sing the song, but the moment I stepped off-stage I was a wreck."
