JEM has revealed she is trying to persuade EMINEM to collaborate with her on a new song.

The rap star has been on a lengthy hiatus but it set to return to the spotlight with a new album, RELAPSE, this year.

Welsh singer-songwriter Jem said she is trying to secure some time in the studio with him and has sent him a song which appears on her new album DOWN TO EARTH.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the singer said she sent a note along with the track, which is entitled You Will Make It.

"The track is about losing someone and I wrote it the day after his friend Proof was murdered. I was in Detroit with Eminem's friends, who I happened to be recording with, when it happened. I hope I hear back from him," she remarked.

Hip hop star 50 Cent recently claimed that Eminem's comeback album is almost complete.
