JAZZ STAR COLEMAN SUFFERS HEAT STROKE AT BONNOROO
Saxophonist ORNETTE COLEMAN was hospitalised suffering from heat stroke after collapsing onstage at the Bonnoroo Festival in Tennessee on Sunday (17Jun07).
The 77-year-old jazz star was rushed to a medical tent and given fluids after he was overcome by the high temperatures at the annual event. Coleman was then moved to a local hospital, where he spent last night under the supervision of doctors.
Coleman is reported to be conscious and speaking and has insisted he had no symptoms before his collapse. He is due to perform next on 6 July in Norway.
