JAY-Z STILL ON TOP WITH THE BLUEPRINT 3
JAY-Z has scored a second week at the top of the U.S. album chart, fending off a surge from WHITNEY HOUSTON.
The rapper's The Blueprint 3 knocked Houston's comeback album I Look To You off the top of the charts last week (16Sep09), but the R&B diva's sales remain strong and she climbed a spot from three to two on the new countdown to challenge Jay-Z.
But the rap star took his two-week tally to over 700,000 with a second sales week of 298,000.
British rockers Muse score the week's highest debut - their new album The Resistance enters at number three, while Kid Cudi's new album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, and Miley Cyrus' The Time Of Our Lives EP round out the new top five.
