JAY-Z EYES ACTIVIST SONG
Crusading hip-hop star JAY-Z is considering penning a track inspired by his charity efforts in Africa. The 99 PROBLEMS hitmaker recently revealed plans to visit some of the driest developing nations in the world to raise awareness about the planet's water crisis and he'll record his trip for MTV special DIARY OF JAY-Z: WATER FOR LIFE. And now the rapper reveals the humbling experience could even inspire his music - he refuses to rule out his own follow-up to KANYE WEST's DIAMONDS FROM SIERRA LEONE. He tells the New York Daily News, "Kanye made that song after he had seen the problems over there. Who knows what will inspire me? I can't say yes, but who knows."
