JAY-Z BANS AMERICAN GANGSTER FROM ITUNES
Hip-hop mogul SHAWN 'JAY-Z' CARTER has banned his new album from download site iTunes - because it is a "work of art". The star insists he wants fans to enjoy LP American Gangster in its entirety - and not just individual tracks from the release, which is an 'imaginary soundtrack' to the new Ridley Scott film of the same name. He says in a statement, "As movies are not sold scene by scene, this collection will not be sold as individual singles." Carter joins the ranks of musicians like British rockers Radiohead who refuse to allow their songs to be downloaded as individual tracks.
