JAY KAY SLAMS RETIREMENT RUMOURS

LATEST: JAMIROQUAI frontman JAY KAY has slammed reports he is taking a break from the music business because he is bored. Earlier this week (begs26FEB07), British newspapers claimed the star had decided to retire after his record deal with SonyBMG expired. But the DEEPER UNDERGROUND singer insists, "There's no way I'm quitting the music business. As usual they got it wrong for a cheap headline! "All I said was that we're taking a bit of time to get the studio refurbished and we'll be back making music in a few months time. "Now I am out of my long contract with SongBMG we have so many options open to us we're just going to take our time and get it right - it's just getting interesting."
